The VORTEX FOUNTAIN WATERFALL is a unique indoor outdoor water feature that simulates the movement of a real volcano and a waterfall simultaneously. As the water rises inside the glass container it forms a tornado. Once the water spills over the rim, it becomes a waterfall: A tornado inside of a waterfall.
Soothing to listen to and fascinating to watch, the Vortex Fountain Waterfall is a great addition to any home or business. At only 6lbs in weight when fully assembled (before water) it is also easy to move and maintain.
The fountain displays beautifully in any waterproof, minimum 6 gallon, pot.
The fountains can be creatively customized by adding, LED lights, solar lights, spot lights, rocks, glass beads, marbles, plants, or whatever you like.
There is no place you can think of where luxury, beauty, tranquility and peace, exists that does not have some type of water feature: spas, salons, casinos, hotels, malls, restaurants, nightclubs, campuses, hospitals, etc.

I’m most drawn to mediums that express nature, (wood, water and landscape design). Art by definition is transforming what is available into something useful and beautiful. What is more readily available than nature?

How much maintenance do the fountains require?
The Vortex Fountains require much less maintenance than most fountains. You only need to keep the water level above the pump and change the water as needed, if it is outdoors.
Is it safe to add chemicals to the fountain?
If you live in area that has hard water, a crusty buildup can cloud the glass and eventually clog the pump. I’ve found that dropping a pool calcium remover tablet once a month usually does the trick.
If you want to stick to more natural methods, an occasional cup of white vinegar also works.
Like aquarium tanks, at some point the crusty buildup may win and more aggressive measures may be needed. Here’s where spraying the inside of the glass with a buildup remover, waiting a bit, then lightly scrubbing away the crust with a scouring pad.
Any specific chemicals to use?
No…any calcium buildup remover, (like Lime Away,’ will work. Initially just use a small amount to see how it will react with the water movement. Otherwise you could wind up with relentless suds, like when too much soap is added to the washer.
How do I chose a location outdoors for the fountain?
Avoid overhanging brush trees. The debris will constantly blow into the fountain and require cleaning more frequently. Also, make sure the fountain is located near electrical access, in order to plug in the pump.
How loud are the fountains?
Keep the water level equal to the level of the LID to ensure the pump is completely submerged.
The sound of the water flow is designed to be comfortable and soothing. However, the noise can be adjusted by adding or removing water. The less water in the fountain, the louder the sound.
Do you offer repair and\or replacement services?
Your Vortex Fountain will last for many years, but in the event you break the glass, no worries. Another glass container can be ordered.
Good news! If the glass is just cracked and not shattered, the fountain will still function properly.
Should the pump stop running, make sure to check for debris blocking the inflow, or you can easily order a new pump.
